My Canadian school life started in February and passed about 2 months. At the beginning, I missed ex school P.C.C. because P.C.C. had been comfortable for me and I didn’t have any friends and fun at school, also I couldn’t understand what they were speaking. However, a few days later, I made friends in classes through activity in P.E. and common interests with me. In my case, they were soccer, music and guitar. I watched UEFA Champions League games with my friends in a break a few days ago. We were very excited. The soccer games were of course amusing, but I had good times but watching games and talking about them together.
My friends are very funny guys. They made classes amusing to me. I have often been spending classes as I laugh or smile since I began to communicate with them. Nowadays, we call Buddy each other. I’m really happy when they call me Buddy. I’m not sure that my English is improving but I’m having a really good time at Fraser Heights Secondary School. So I don’t feel I want to go back my real home. I may prefer staying here longer to going back because I have fun here, then I go back to Japan and I’m bound to miss my friends at F.H.S.S. I’m so happy with them. I’m sure that I’m enjoying school.
僕のカナダでの学校生活（現地一般高校）は2月に始まり、2ヶ月が過ぎました。始めの頃は、前の学校のＰＣＣがとても居心地が良かったので恋しく思いました。それにここには友達は誰もいなかったし、楽しみもありませんでした。何を皆が言ってるのかも理解できませんでした。でも、数日後、体育の授業で知り合った友達が出来ました。共通の趣味を持つ友達です。僕の場合は、サッカーや音楽やギターでした。数日前の休み時間に友達とＵＥＦＡチャンピオンリーグシップの試合を見ました。とってもエキサイトしました、そのサッカーの試合自体ももちろん面白かったけど、試合観戦以外に、友達と試合について話することも、とても楽しかったです。
僕の友達はとても面白いです。彼らは僕のために授業を面白くしてくれます。彼らと親しくなってから、笑ったりニコニコしながら僕はクラスで話すこともあります。最近、僕達は、お互いを“バディー”と呼びあっています。僕は彼らが僕をバディと呼んでくれるのが、とても嬉しいです。僕の英語が上達しているかは分からないけれど、フレイザーハイツセカンダリーハイスクールで、とても良い時間を過ごしています。だから、僕は現実の世界に戻りたくないです。現実の生活に戻るよりも、ここに長く滞在したいような気もします。というのも、ここはとても楽しいからです。日本に帰ったら、ここの友達を恋しく想うでしょう。僕は今、間違いなく、学校生活を楽しんでいます。
